You just never know when..
You may need a site that won’t get shut down by idiots tossing about false DMCA notices. It used to be that Big Content would squeal about derivative works, but now even the state of Oregon has gotten into the act, trying to keep a site from publishing the laws of the state.
Think about that for a second. Violating copyright of a US political subdivision whose work is paid for by tax money – and the content is that of public law. AAAAGH!
With wisdom like that and hosting services with no backbone, it’s great of TPB to host blogs that would be reviewed by a different standard. One in which greedy and stupid entities would have their bombastic demands enshrined along with terse, sarcastic replies.
